Fifty feet from the kitchen at We Woods Farm, there is a garden.
It grows microgreens, fresh herbs, and seasonal vegetables. It is not decorative. It is the beginning of every meal that our in-house chef and her team put on the table.
This is what farm-to-table means here — not a label on a menu, but the actual distance between the ground and your plate.
The Kitchen at We Woods Farm
our in-house chef has been cooking at We Woods Farm house in Gurgaon, Manesar since the property opened. She knows the farm’s rhythm — what’s growing this week, what will be ready by Sunday, what the children prefer, and how to adjust for a group of 22 without anything feeling rushed or compromised.
The kitchen is a working farm kitchen — not a banquet hall, not a restaurant setup. Every meal is prepared fresh, cooked to order for your group, and served buffet-style so everyone eats at their own pace.
Guests do not have access to the kitchen — it is Our domain. But the results arrive at your table in full.
What a Full Day of Eating Looks Like
Snacks at 6 PM — The Welcome to the Evening
After a day in the pool or on the cricket ground, snacks arrive at 6 PM as a two-hour setup. Choose from a full list of vegetarian and non-vegetarian starters — Spring Rolls, Honey Chilli Potato, Mushroom Tikka, Chicken Seekh Kabab, Chicken Malai Tikka, Paneer Pakoras, Chilli Chicken, and more. All non-veg items are boneless.
The option to add a Live Barbeque setup (Rs 2,500) turns this into a proper evening event — coals lit, skewers going, the kind of setup that becomes a weekend memory.
Dinner at 9:30 PM — The Main Event
Dinner is a full multi-course Indian meal. You choose one vegetarian curry, one paneer dish, and one non-vegetarian (boneless) main. These are accompanied by Tawa Roti and Paratha fresh off the griddle, Jeera Rice, Boondi Raita, Green Salad, Pickle, and dessert — typically Kheer or Gulab Jamun.
In winter, Raita is served on request to reduce wastage — a practical consideration that reflects the kitchen’s genuine attention to your stay.
The kitchen team serves until 11 PM, then retires after laying the buffet. The food stays available through the evening.
Breakfast at 10 AM — The Slow Morning
There is no alarm. No hotel buffet that closes at 9:30. Breakfast at We Woods Farm begins at 10 AM — which is exactly when most guests are ready.
Choose one Indian breakfast: Mix Parathas with Curd, Chole Bhature, Poori Bhaji, Matar Kulcha, Pao Bhaji, Poha, Uttapam Sambar, or Idli Sambar. This comes with Veg Sandwich, Butter and Jam, Eggs to Order with Bread, Tea or Coffee, and fresh Watermelon.
Guests regularly say that breakfast on Sunday morning — unhurried, farm-fresh, with the garden visible from the dining area — is the meal they remember most.
Lunch at 3 PM — For the Daytime Stays
For day bookings or early arrivals, lunch is available at Rs 350 per person. Choose any 2 dishes from a full list — Dal Makhani, Kadhi Paneer, Rajma Rasila, Paneer Makhni, Mix Veg, and more — accompanied by Tawa Roti, Paratha, Jeera Rice, Boondi Raita, and Green Salad.
What’s Grown on the Farm
The organic farm at We Woods Farm is a working kitchen garden. It grows microgreens — the young seedlings of herbs and vegetables that carry concentrated nutrition and flavour — along with fresh herbs and seasonal vegetables that make it into the kitchen daily.
The farm operates without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers. What grows here is what you eat. The connection is direct and visible — guests who walk the farm in the morning often see the same herbs in their dinner that evening.
Saturday Bookings: Food Is Mandatory
On Saturday bookings, the full meal package is mandatory. This is a practical policy — Our team prepares for the full group, and the kitchen is committed to that booking. On other days, food is optional (though highly recommended).
